Signs of a Gambling Problem

  • Betting more than you can afford to lose, or chasing losses.
  • Borrowing money or selling things to gamble.
  • Gambling interfering with work, sleep or relationships.
  • Feeling anxious, guilty or unable to stop.

Tools to Stay in Control

Set a budget before you play and treat it as the cost of entertainment. Use each casino's built-in tools — deposit limits, loss limits, session-time reminders, cool-off periods and self-exclusion — in your account settings.

Important for offshore players: The casinos we review are not part of any US state self-exclusion program. If you self-exclude with a state program, that will not block offshore sites. Use each offshore operator's own self-exclusion tools, and for stronger protection consider device-level blocking software such as Gamban or GamBlock.

Protecting Minors

You must be 18+ or 21+ (depending on the operator) to gamble. Keep account details away from minors and use parental-control software on shared devices.
